Places I've Been
I have been pretty much all over the United States, mostly to visit my family or friends. Every time we travel, we drive. I personally like driving because we get to see the different nature scenes of the different states. I live in western Pennsylvania, so we pretty much have the same weather every year; hot in the summer, cold in the winter. It hardly snows at the beginning of winter, but when February rolls around, the ground is covered. (Side note: We like to joke that Pennsylvania has two seasons - winter and road construction. Either we have snow or there's road construction everywhere.) I do enjoy flying, though, because sometimes I just don't want to drive.

I think the easiest way to say where I've been is to put the different locations into list form and state why we went there.
Since we always take road trips, we also drive through the other states to get to our destination. I've probably been in 75% of the country. I may have also been to Canada, but I was a baby/toddler and don't remember it (if I did go).
- Austin, TX - My aunt and uncle used to live there and we visited them in 1999. (I believe we also went to Mexico on this trip because I remember getting cowboy boots.)
- Indianapolis, IN - I was in the world quiz for Children's Quizzing through the Nazarene Church, so we went here in 2005. We were also on our way to visit my aunt and uncle in Oregon.
- St. Helens, OR - My aunt and uncle moved to Oregon after living in Texas. We came out to visit them the year I went to the World Quiz. We also stopped in Washington to see Mount St. Helens and stopped at Mount Rushmore on the way back home.
- Harrisonburg, VA - I went to the Regional quiz for Children's Quizzing after going to the World Quiz.
- Quincy, MA / Boston, MA - We went up to Quincy the first time for Regionals for Teen Quizzing through the Nazarene Church. Then I attended school here and visit every October.
- Miami, FL - I went to Miami for Spring Break my freshman year.
- Tampa, FL - We went to Tampa to visit my uncle and then-aunt at their house.
- Providence Forge, VA / Williamsburg, VA / Norfolk, VA - Every time I've went to Virginia, we were visiting another aunt and uncle. The first time I went, I was with my grandma and step-grandpa and we went to Williamsburg and Norfolk. Every other time, my family comes down for the Fourth of July party my aunt and uncle have every year.
